to tell their story. ANYONE that has been hurt by Todd Bentley,
Fresh Fire or associated ministries or who have been told by God to
stay away from them. Any prophet or apostle that was sent with a word
of correction and tossed out on their ear (or arrested). We're asking
for them all to come forth. We will give you a forum to speak and get
these messages to the Body. If you have audio or video
testimonies, or copies of specific rebukes or corrections that were

other than LOVE for the Body and a desire to see restoration and

Below is a link to a page on our
site where you can watch a couple of videos and see lots of links to
other sites where you can hear a lot more about what's going on. I
don't expect that this is intersecting with the Baptists,
Presbyterians, Lutherans or other non-Charismatic denominations at
the moment, but you might want to research it because it's VERY
contagious and it's moving fast!
The short of it is that about a
month ago a conference that Todd Bentley from Fresh Fire Ministries
was holding in Lakeland, Florida got bigger and bigger and people are
coming from all over the world. They've moved to bigger and bigger
venues repeatedly and are having services twice a day for the last
three or four weeks. It has been picked up and promoted by GodTV,
TBN, Charisma Magazine (who has now begun to throw on the brakes a
little however), as well as the International House of Prayer,
Extreme Prophetic and many other ministries that are hyping this
"great move of God" that supposedly fulfills the prophecies
about a great East Coast revival.
The thing is, there is a lot to
be suspicious about - from the lack of real Bible preaching, to the
lack of talk about hell and repentance and real salvation that
requires holiness and brokenness - to the history, style, life and
persona of Todd Bentley himself. Fresh Fire Ministries doesn't seen
to have any real charitable purpose or mission other than to be a
platform for Todd. There are lots of testimonies about really
eggregious money-making strategies enmeshed in this thing.
At the heart of it, this is the
grown-up, mature older brother of the Prosperity Gospel. The old was
all about the natural wealth, about getting a Mercedes or a jet plane
or God blessing you with a new house if you sow a seed into the
ministry of someone that already HAS a Mercedes and a jet plane. But
this thing that is being preached is SPIRITUAL Prosperity Gospel - if
you sow in, you'll get POWER and you'll go to the third heaven any
time you want and people will jump out of their wheelchairs when you
touch them and you'll get to talk to angels all the time. And
ultimately it's just another version of how YOU get to tell GOD what
YOU want and He'll do it for you.
I KNOW that I know that this
think in Lakeland is truly a move of God - it's just that it is one
big, snarly Red Dragon spirit of religion and antichrist and it's a
delusion FROM GOD that is intent on your destruction. If you make it
about MAN, then God will turn you over to that man - and he will rule
you harshly, bring curses on you and take all your money. And that's
what's happening when we go down the aisle and say, "Lord, give
me whatever THAT guy has got!" There's not telling what
you'll get. You'll be clucking like a chicken before you know it.
I'm warning everybody that has
ears to hear - this thing is DANGEROUS!! I'm already getting emails
and phone calls from people all over that are seeing this sweep into
their congregation - and anybody that disagrees is ejected with
prejudice. You KNOW it's a SPIRIT when to even question it, you get
your hand bitten off by people that insist they are acting like Jesus!
Do NOT ever, ever, ever (never,
ever) let someone (including ME!) lay hands on you without first
putting on the FULL ARMOR of God and making sure that YOU have made
it clear to the Lord God Almighty that you want NOTHING except His
Spirit and only what HE wants for you! If you ask for bread, you will
NOT get a stone.
Why are some people finding Jesus
and getting healed in Lakeland (or a Benny Hinn conference or
elsewhere that looks suspect)? Because if you go ANYWHERE seeking
JESUS, you will be found by Him. But if you go seeking Benny or Todd
(or whatever is on/in/around them), you'll be found by that, too!
Real revival is about repentance
and brokenness and humility and people on their face weeping for
their worldliness. It's NOT about laughing or falling down or
feathers or gold dust or talking to angels. It's NOT about
performance or impressing people or emotional appeals. It's about
FEAR OF THE LORD and His JUSTICE, not one-sided promises of blessing
because God just wants to love on you.
Does He love you? Yeah, so much
that He will whack the stuffing out of you if you make it about YOU!
He will turn you over to a strong delusion and you'll take MILLIONS
down with you - and you won't even know you're doing it until you
stand before Him and say, "But Lord, we healed and delivered and
prophesied in your name. We had lots of followers and sold lots of
books." And He'll surprise you by lifting the scales off your
eyes and showing you that He never knew you - and that you never
really did it for Him anyway.
Here in Kansas City, we are at
ground zero of some of the nastiest delusions to afflict the Church.
If you trace back the charismatic craziness that has afflicted the
Bride for the last twenty years, all roads lead to Kansas City. The
Kansas City Prophets and what has morphed into IHOP is ultimately
behind a WHOLE LOT of what's driving "the prophetic". And
it started right, but when God gives you a big job to do (like
restore the Bride and bring real revival) and you make it about YOU,
He's gonna turn you over to one NASTY spirit of delusion - and
anybody that looks to you will follow you right down that wrong path.
And their blood will be on YOUR head (and their own for making you an idol).
I pray that those who have ears
will hear and be warned. I fear that many will not. This is the
nasty, grown-up, sneaky big brother of the delusions that have come
before. It's going to sort the wheat from the tares and drive people
with discernment out of their comfy congregations full of dead
bodies. Only the Ezekiel 9 remnant will be safe. Without the
mark of repentance and weeping and mourning on your forehead, you're
just going to be another dead body in a defiled temple. Please hear
me. I pray you hear me.

And if you're not a charismatic, don't get all full of yourself --
there are all kinds of other nasty Red Dragons (Seeker Sensitive,
Emerging Church, Church Growth, Willow Creek, Contemplative Prayer,
Alpha, Purpose Driven, One-God, KJV1611-only, etc.). There are
all kinds of the things the Lord will put on you to make you think
you're rich and have need of nothing, while you're really blind,
wretched, naked and poor - and about to be spewed out of His mouth.
Don't get comfy. The only safe place is repentance and brokenness and
a desperate desire for the Bride to rise up white and pure and ONE.
